Welcome to the Open1xSupplicant project page. This page was created to support users and future developers who have the will to continue this project.

With the beginning of Portuguese project the e-U Campus Virtual and the increasing use of GNU/Linux systems, grows the need of a graphical user interface able to configure the user authentication process in 802.1x protocol.

Project Open1xSupplicant has born.

This project consists of a graphical interface capable, to make the bridge between the user and the 802.1x authentication software, Xsupplicant. This way, the Open1xSupplicant comes to help user using Xsupplicant, without the knowledge of there functioning.
